ccNewsletter 1.5: send to test group, live update, UI improvements & more
The latest version of our Joomla! newsletter component has been released: ccNewsletter 1.5. Read on for screenshots and more information!
To better match the new user interface in Joomla! 3 we have continued converting ccNewsletter layouts to the Bootstrap framework (or JUI as you might know it). In my opinion this improves consistency between Joomla! core and other Joomla! extensions that are based on the same framework. View the screenshot below to get a good impression of these changes.

New features
This update supports Joomla! 2 and Joomla! 3, requires at least PHP5.3, and includes the following main features:
- One-click “live” update and Update notifications directly in your Joomla! Administrator
- To better match the new UI in Joomla! 3 we improved user interface and layouts (Bootstrap/JUI)
- A new test group function: create a test group with fake subscribers to test how your server performs
- Complete code review and improvements: review of javascript implementation, css code etc
- And many more smaller features and improvements
