Languages (and translating) cciDEAL

All our extensions can be fully translated. We try to provide the full translations for at least English and Dutch. Our customers help us in providing translations into other languages. If you want to use our extensions with a language other than English, you will need to install the Joomla! translation files of that language in Joomla! first. After that, Joomla will also load our extensions in that language. It is however possible that translations are not complete. In that case you will probably see English texts in the site or administrator where you would expect a text in your language. To translate these texts, follow the instructions below.

Making quick translations

Just a few quick and easy changes – It is very easy to do a few small changes to language files yourself. Have a look at this tutorial about https://docs.joomla.org/J4.x:Developing_an_MVC_Component/Language_Management for more details.

A lot of changes, for pro users – Another option (for experienced users) is to use FTP to download and edit the files. They are located in /administrator/languages and /languages.

Improve translations for everyone

If you made a lot of translations into your language, consider sending them to info@chillcreations.com, so others users of our extensions can also benefit from your work. They will then become part of the default version, and your changes will also not be lost during updates.
